Our goal: deliver a structured, 1-month engagement programme to activate connection, trust, and collaboration across the Sandbox DAO
Outcomes include:
- 3 facilitated live sessions (on Google Meets) that bring together key stakeholder groups (voxel artists, KOLs, landowners, builders, ambassadors, etc.) 🟢 2/3 Sessions complete
- Facilitated dialogue to foster cross-role understanding and a shared sense of purpose 🟢
- A storytelling artifact (e.g. video, post series, infographic) showcasing community voices 🟢 In progress!
- A high-impact X Space on or around August 30, integrating the planning and delivery of the SDGP closing X Space and serving as the capstone event for SDGP and DAO-wide visibility 🟢 In progress!
Engagement metrics:
- Participant approval rating: At least 8/10 satisfaction across all sessions (via feedback forms) 🟢 Averaging 9/10
- Engagement KPIs:
- 30+ unique participants across sessions 🟢 15 so far
- At least 50 Sandbox DAO members attending the final X Space ⚪️ in progress

Participant feedback was thoughtful, engaged, and largely positive, with suggestions pointing toward scalable improvements and deeper community support.

1. High perceived value of connection and shared experience
Participants consistently expressed that connecting with others across geographies and roles was meaningful and energizing.
“There’s genuine intent from everyone to build something good in this space.”
“Knowing there are others out there dealing with similar challenges — that was reassuring.”
2. Participants want continuity and follow-up
There’s a strong desire for ongoing connection beyond the sessions — both through async channels and scheduled spaces.
“It’d be great to stay in touch with the other participants: X / LinkedIn / Email… That way, you build new connections in the ecosystem.”
“What if there were various group chats scheduled throughout the day where people can connect with others with their questions/concerns before they work in TSB?”
3. Cultural insight and empathy are emerging themes
The Global Connect session surfaced interest in how different communities show up in the DAO and what barriers they face.
“Barriers to global reach: 1. Knowledge gaps, 2. Internet access, 3. Language.”
“Hyperlocal is something a lot of community members are leaning into — it’s not a weakness, it’s a lens.”

🚧 Areas of Learning and Improvement
- Consider adding light guiding question sheets to facilitate breakouts
- Creating a shared linktree could help participants connect afterwards
- We learnt that certain timings (9PM/11PM GMT+8) are more conducive for community participation (changing the final session increased RSVPs!) </aside>
